N.C. Children's Hospital Heart Center

Overview

The N.C. Children's Hospital Heart Center Team provides comprehensive, compassionate, family-centered care for children of all ages with heart disease. Starting with prenatal diagnosis and counseling, we collaborate with the UNC Center for Maternal and Infant Health to provide coordinated care. Services offered include congenital cardiac surgery, heart transplant, cardiac catheterization and minimally invasive therapies, hybrid procedures, advanced cardiac imaging, invasive electrophysiology, and care for adults with congenital heart disease.

The N.C. Children's Heart Center offers inpatient and outpatient cardiology care at N.C. Children's Hospital and regional medical centers throughout the state, including:  Raleigh, Cary, Greensboro, Wilmington, Fayetteville, and Burlington. Much of our patient care activity occurs within our regional outreach clinics, helping keep patients and families in their communities.
